Welcome to my hell.

This weeks raid experience has pushed me over the edge, I guess. I’ve officially begun my countdown to Wrath of the Lich King, in which hopefully my second attempt at a reroll will turn out better than the Paladin experiment did. The sad thing is, before Burning Crusade, I was really too ignorant to even know the mage class was bad, I just didn’t think it was fun.

When TBC rolled around, I actually learned how to play the class and a whole new level of rage woke inside of me. Not only is the class not fun, it’s also not worth playing at all. I came to realize that my damage (as a  “pure” dps class) would never exceed that of other classes which had multiple viable raid specs and offered various degrees of raid synergy and support. Behold the mage – doing nothing to help anyone elses dps and doing none of its own. But hey, at least they gave us that cool little biscuit table. If it weren’t for that shit, I’d probably never see Sunwell!

Oh yeah, and by the way, regardless of what Shz and Mcpoof might think, they’ve even eliminated the need for mages to be in Sunwell to buff! Happy day! The next 4+ months are officially destined to be:

1. Summon table.

2. Suck dick.

I can’t wait…

  1. Number 2 seems to be our morale support.

So we do support the team, yeah.
